Abstract
The imaging appearance of urinary diversion is determined by the indication and type
of surgical procedure performed. These patients often undergo an imaging follow-up
to detect complications or recurrence. Understanding the postoperative anatomy and
early detection of complications are keys to adept interpretation of radiological
evaluation of urinary reservoirs. The purpose of following review is to offer a brief
account of commonly used surgical techniques, relevant anatomy, and concise overview
of the imaging techniques for evaluation of the urinary diversions and features of
their complications.
