This new book on chest radiology is original and different from the others [maybe
too many]. The authors intend to help the reader establish for each pathological finding,
demonstrable by traditional radiology or CT, an appropriate and comprehensive differential
diagnosis. In fact, Dr. Stern and his collaborators start from the proposition that
if a radiologist cannot reach a definite diagnosis, he should at least offer to the
clinician a list of reasonable diagnostic hypotheses.
