Abstract
A very rare case of primary carcinoid tumor of the liver that underwent hepatic artery
embolization is reported. Computed tomography showed a low-density tumor with little
contrast medium enhancement, whereas angiography revealed a slightly hypervasculor
mass in the liver. The computed tomography findings after hepatic artery embolization
showed a marked decrease in attenuation and gas formation.
